Thank You Kansas 2010 Connection Event?

We welcome everyone from non profits and local businesses to handmade crafts, food vendors, and local bands. Please let us know what your interests are and how you would like to get involved with saying Thank You Kansas!

 

 

This is what Scott Swedlund with Lazer 105.9, who was very influential in creating this idea, had to say about this event:

"The Winter companies, Discovery Furniture and RoomMakers are putting up a total of $16,000 worth of prizes that will be given away in the next 4 weeks to kick off a new concept in community "Good News." Frustrated by the chronic bad news in the media Jeff decided to create an event for Kansas by Kansas citizens and businesses. On April 9th, 10th, and 11th, there is a party being planned, a BIG PARTY! The concept is simple. There is a location and a date and a time now all that is needed are friends and neighbors to participate. Jeff is putting out the call to local community groups, businesses, and even individual citizens letting them know that they can be part of the party. The goal is that everyone brings something to the party to make it bigger and better. NO ideas are too small and no ideas are too grand. All they have to do is have their own individual way of saying "Thank You Kansas." It is hoped that this event begins to bring people closer together as a community."
